Let's do Great Things
for Berkeley!

DEDICATED TO BERKELEY,

AND BERKELEY VALUES

As a young girl growing up in Berkeley, Sophie watched free speech protests on Telegraph Avenue and experienced the Civil Rights movement unfold.

She learned early on that the things we do here really matter – and she’s been working ever since to make Berkeley the very best that it can be.

For the past 20 years, as a community leader, City Councilmember, and Vice Mayor, Sophie’s been a powerful force for positive change, turning visionary ideas into real solutions and building on Berkeley’s bedrock values of community, equity, and sustainability.

Vote Sophie Hahn for Berkeley Mayor - Tuesday November 5!

EXPERIENCE THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE FOR BERKELEY

Sophie’s passion for problem solving and delivering results for our community are unparalleled. Prior to being elected to the City Council, where she still serves, Sophie spent six years on Berkeley’s Zoning Board, approving more than 1000 new homes and advocating for maximum affordability.

Deeply committed to our youth and schools, Sophie launched impactful programs to increase equity for all students as President of King Middle School PTA.

Sophie helped raise millions to renovate our libraries on the Library Foundation Board and founded an urban farm, The Berkeley Basket, providing backyard produce to local families.

She served two terms on the Board of our local Planned Parenthood, ensuring access to reproductive health and abortion services for our community.

It wasn’t long before Sophie’s neighbors elected her to the City Council where she has served as Vice Mayor and is a champion for affordable housing, public safety, small business, equity, and the environment.

TODAY, SOPHIE'S RUNNING FOR MAYOR BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WE CAN DO GREAT THINGS FOR BERKELEY.
